Before the sun awoke from several days sleep blanketed by heaps and mounds of gray and dismal clouds, I ventured over to a charming little park known by few and squished along the soggy grounds feeding my soul through a plethora of colors, shapes and textures.
A week’s rain, too, had the lake expanded, and walking nearer, a startled water moccasin slithered, retreating to the safety of the water’s depths. I missed getting a picture of the snake as I was too busy making sure there were no others where I strode. Rumor has it there has been a snake swarm sited at the lake. Yep. I took a walk on the wild side.
Great pics taken at the expense of squishy feet.
It was well worth it. 🙂
Beautiful pictures! 😀
Thanks!!!
